ON a different note... I am learning the keys.... from the world's most okayest guitar players standpoint... Parts of it I find easier other parts not so much.... Im usting a Nektar 61 key | USB MIDI Controller Keyboard and Garageband for the sounds.... I started with a little 2 octave AKAI MPK then I went with a mini 32key Donnor, then up to 49 Key NEKTAR now on to 61 key.......Im getting better (as in chord semiproficiency) but I want something weighted.....

The 10 alone is excellent, but most of my complaints of the 10 are solved by the 30. This is what I wrote there about the 10-
Pros: Best keyfeel value (same as the more expensive FP-30x graded hammer action), bluetooth wireless midi?, discount, usb-B midi (hopefully compliant?)
Cons: No line out or line in, weak speakers, one weak headphone out, no midi 5pin in/out, no 3 pedal support, no recording/playback, limited polyphony (96???), included pedal is cheap
Upgrade pedal ($55 and half damper capable): https://www.adorama.com/rodp10.html?ema

note: I played piano for around 15 years, classical and jazz, before switching to synths and just recently coming back to piano with the Roland FP-10 and for playing piano it seemed like riding a bike which was surprising to me, the touch and full 88 keys makes a different and I find myself wanting to practice and play around with it
From what I've seen, the FP30x has exactly the same action as the FP10. If you always play through headphones, there will be no difference in sound quality between the two. The FP10 has the benefit of being a lot lighter and a little smaller vs the 30x.

I think the FP10 has a better UI to select the piano sounds. There's few enough sounds for each key to have the sound effect written above it.

On the FP30x, you need to hold down the sound effect category hotkey and hit unlabeled keys until you find the option you want.

I almost got the FP10, but found a used FP30x for the same price. It was sitting in a Guitar Center for 6 months and management slashed the price by a lot

I'm strongly considering selling or returning the 10 for the 30 alone. The bundle is a bonus. Note though that the stand in the bundle technically woks but is not substantial enough for the weight of even the 10.
I went for the P225, the FP30X seems like better technology overall (Bluetooth midi, more sounds, etc) but I preferred the lighter action of the P225
